Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi insists there is “something special” about Leicester City and believes the club will keep hold of their star players despite having no chance of playing in Europe next season.
The 20-year-old has quickly established himself as a key member of Leicester’s first-choice line-up following his £16 million move in January from Belgian club, KRC Genk.
Ndidi who has been linked with a move away from the King Power Stadium in the summer says he will stay on and has tipped the club’s other big stars to stay on.
“I think our best players will stay,” Ndidi told the Leicester Mecury.
“I am very happy here, it is more than I expected.
“I’ve not known a team like Leicester before, we are something special.
“The team is doing good now and we are happy about it,” he declared.
Ndidi has scored once in 11 league appearances for Leicester this season.
