WAFA SC defender Caleb Amankwah is confident the club can maintain their unbeaten run after facing Hearts of Oak on Monday.

The league leaders are on an unprecedented club record of no defeat in their last seven games. The impressive Academy boys believe their style which has been improvised by Danish coach Klavs Rasmussen since arriving at the beginning of the season can withstand any opposition in the domestic league.

Speaking ahead of their trip to Accra, Amankwah said WAFA has a good knowledge of the threat from the Phobians.

”We know their strengths and weaknesses. We watched them play Kotoko on Monday and we believe we can beat them,” the right-back stated.

“As a team, we have the mindset of not looking at the stature of the opponent. Be it a club bigger than us or not, our focus is the three points at stake,” he added.

Last season, WAFA secured a point when they visited Hearts at the Accra Sports Stadium.
