Strand elated with team

Great Olympics coach Tom Strand has lauded his charges for Saturday’s impressive 2-0 victory over Asante Kotoko.

The Wonder club picked full points from Kotoko with goals in each half from Paul Fiatsi and Francis Atsu at the Accra Sports Stadium – their third victory in 14 league games in the ongoing season.

”I’m happy about our game – the way my boys played made me feel satisfied. The boys were ready today. We worked really hard on tactics and got some good rest before this game,” the Swedish coach said.

“Before I joined, I was observing the team and they always played good football but were not scoring. I just added a few things and the unity in the team now is helping as well. Avoiding relegation is the goal,” Strand added.Great Olympics have 14 points from as many games played in the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League so far.
