Thomas Partey was on target for the second time this season, scoring stunning goal as Arsenal cruised past Nottingham to reclaim top spot in the Premier League.
The Ghana international scored a stunner in the London derby against Tottenham early this month, and he did the same in the 5-0 win over Nottingham.
Gabriel Martinelli put Arsenal ahead early on before England’s Bukayo Saka, who set up the goal, was forced off with an injury.
Saka’s replacement, Reiss Nelson, doubled the lead four minutes after the restart with his first Arsenal goal since November 2020 before adding his second.
Partey then electrified the Emirates with a thumping strike for the hosts, before Martin Odegaard added the fifth goal to round out a miserable afternoon for Forest.
Arsenal thanks to the win have restored their two-point lead over Manchester City at the summit, with Forest still bottom after an eighth defeat of the season.
